Summer turning with Sidsel
Come and play with clay! There’s something so peaceful about the feeling of wet clay between your hands. We’d love for you to spend a summer afternoon with us, discovering the joy of pottery under Sidsel’s warm and expert guidance. Whether you’ve never touched a potter’s wheel before or you’re looking to polish your skills, this workshop is a cozy, supportive space to explore your creativity and find your flow.
Each session is a focused 2.5-hour escape—the perfect amount of time to really get into the craft. We’ll spend about 2 hours and 15 minutes at the wheel, leaving the last 15 minutes to mindfully clean up and ease back into the rest of your day.
By the end, you’ll have made something special to take home: a unique small bowl or a cup. If you find your rhythm quickly, you might even finish more than two pieces!
To keep things intimate and make sure everyone gets plenty of help, we limit each session to just 4 participants.
Together, we will walk through the soulful process of:
centering the clay at the turning machine
basic pulling techniques to shape a bowl, a cup, or a vase
The price is 650 kr. per person, which covers everything you need:
Two pieces you create yourself (extra pieces can be purchased at 75 kr. each)
Firing & Glazing (you can choose among 6 types of dipping glazes)
Sidsel will take care of trimming your pieces once they become leather dry
If you fall in love with the experience and want to go even further, you can book a follow-up glazing session for 150 kr. to personalize your pieces with our wide selection of brush-on glazes.
About the instructor: Sidsel
Originally from Denmark and now based in Milan, Sidsel brings over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, with collaborations spanning from Copenhagen to Milan. With a background in Fashion Design, her passion has always been rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and design.
In recent years, Sidsel turned her focus to clay, drawn to its therapeutic and meditative qualities. This journey led to the creation of Fluuido Laboratory - a space dedicated to artisanship, creative exploration, and mindful practice. Fluuido offers a place where people can reconnect with themselves through the simple, grounding act of making.
