Spend 3 cozy hours making spooky Halloween decorations out of clay. This event is perfect for anyone who loves Halloween as much as we do. Get ready for trick-or-treating by making your own festive decorations. You can display these handmade ceramic pieces around your home.

No experience is needed to join. Share your idea with us when you arrive. We will guide you through a project that matches your skill level.

Price: 400 kr. (kids 13 year old and under pay half price when accompanied by a paying adult)

Remark: Would you like your pieces ready in time for Halloween night? We recommend booking a table before October 10. This gives your pottery enough time to dry completely. It also allows time for the two firings needed to make it strong, waterproof, and safe for food.

Do not worry if you can’t book before this date. Spending quality time with people you care about is what truly matters.

Unwind from the work week with clay, music, and great company! Join us every Friday evening to kick off your weekend with a relaxed, hands-on creative session.

Pack your favorite wine, bring some snacks, and grab your friends (or come solo and make new ones!). We’ll supply the clay, glazes, tools, and music—no previous experience required. Our friendly team will be on hand to walk you through the basics, but there’s no pressure to create a masterpiece. It’s not a quiet meditation class; it’s a lively space to experiment, get your hands dirty, and enjoy good vibes.

Come as you are, bring your playful energy, and let’s make something fun!

Price: the same price we have on our standard bookings

• 400 kr. if you want to work freely with 500 g of clay

• 299 kr. if you want to mold a cup with our plaster forms

• pay what you choose from our catalog of raw ceramic, if you want to paint on ceramics

Learn a variety of clay techniques across six hands-on lessons. This course offers personal guidance for your specific projects. Our instructors will work with you one-on-one to help bring your ideas to life.

What you’ll learn:

Hand Building: learn key hand techniques such as pinching, coiling, and working slabs of clay.

Curious about the potter's wheel? You can ask introductory lessons to try shaping clay on the wheel.

Decorating: Learn special painting techniques to give your finished creations an artistic look.

Note on Materials: To ensure you only pay for what you use, clay is purchased separately at the studio for 50 kr. per 500g.

We understand that unexpected plans can happen. However, we cannot offer refunds for missed classes. We also cannot offer replacement sessions for missed dates. Teaching is set for specific days, so all course bookings are final.

Meet your instructors: 

Viola – Instructor at Lerværk

Viola is a creative soul with her hands deep in clay and a heart full of ideas. She has several years of experience with ceramics and loves exploring how form, texture, and function can come together in new ways.

As an instructor, Viola is curious, present, and inspiring. She meets both children and adults at eye level and creates a safe space where everyone can be creative, regardless of skill level.

She is particularly passionate about experimenting with techniques and finding new paths in ceramic expression, often finding inspiration in her students and the atmosphere of the workshop. Beyond her ceramics background, she has extensive experience in teaching and participatory learning, and is passionate about creating communities built around craftsmanship and the joy of creating.

Josephine – Instructor at Lerværk

On a daily basis, I study political science at Aalborg University, but when I don't have my nose in the books, I work at Lervaerket and spend a lot of time on ceramics. I am especially fond of hand-building because I love the organic and personal expression it creates.

However, I am also always ready to help if you want to try your hand at wheel-throwing—so whether you are mostly into hand-building, the potter's wheel, or don't even know yet what you want to make, I'll be happy to guide you along the way.

To me, ceramics isn't about making something perfect, but about experimenting, being creative, and creating something that is completely your own. I look forward to some cozy hours filled with plenty of creativity, laughter, and of course, a bit of clay all over the place!

Gather your favorite people for an unforgettable evening of live model sketching. Enjoy a relaxed, vibrant atmosphere as you pair a glass of wine with hands-on clay crafting.

The evening kicks off at 19:00 with a quick introduction to basic clay techniques. At 19:30, our male live model takes the stage, and our instructors will guide you step-by-step to help capture the form and sculpt your own artwork.
